In an attempt to cram a bunch of blogs in at the last minute to possibly prevent my grade from suffering too badly (have mercy!), I will be posting as many half-blogs as I can in the next thirty minutes – meaning just the blog portion and none of the challenges. “What? All veggies and no steak?” That’s how it goes, my dear single reader. My last week was stuffed full of two projects, reading an entire novel, a cumulative math test, a final exam, and 22 straight hours of work on my feet.

The answer is, “Ride some of the cooler roller coasters.”
My family is one of late bloomers. In addition to this, I was born in August, the latest possible month to still get into school when you’re 4 years old, and I skipped a grade, so I was way behind my friends. I didn’t hit my growth spurt until I was late into my sophomore year of high school. That meant that whenever I went to Six Flags Over Texas, all of my friends got to go on the cool rides and I was stuck on the baby ones. We always split up by the end of the day, so unless I was always with my family, I didn’t have a whole lot of fun.
Ironically, now that I’m big and mature enough to go on all of the cool rides, I’ve also gained an intense fear of heights and don’t really want to ride roller coasters anymore.
